YOGA, BREATHWORK & PILATES
I offer a range of different modalities including yoga (vinyasa and yin), breathwork, meditation, reformer pilates and mat pilates. Whether you are new to the practice, injured, pregnant or not feeling 100%, I can modifiy or intensify the practice to suit your needs. I use the yoga asanas (poses), breath (pranayama) and philosophy to help you become more resilient and connected.
VINYASA FLOW YOGA
Vinyasa in sanskrit means ’to place in a special way’. Vinyasa yoga is a beautiful flow practice where each pose is carefully placed in an order to create flow with the breath and transitions allowing you to move fluidly and shift energetic blocks. Vinyasa is a yang or fire practice which can be modified to suit all levels and injuries.
YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a water or more gentle practice. We hold poses for longer to allow the body to gently soften and ‘stress’ the fascia so that it rehydrates. yin is a beautiful practice to balance a lot of strong activities and allow your body, mind and soul to recover. this practice is quite introspective and gives you a great opportunity to switch of from the demands of our busy lives and nurture yourself.
SHAMANIC MEDITATION & BREATHWORK
Shamanic Meditation and Breathwork is taught intuitively and includes yogic breathwork (pranayama), opening sacred space, physically releasing energy from the body, mudras, connecting to the chakras, sacred geometry, merkabah and shamanic journeys.
